Kasey was put down on December 3 and the princess demon came in our life a day later

I am finally doing a major clean up in my room. I've been sorting clothes, books and dvds. Deciding what to donate or throwout.

I've taken:
3 large boxes of books to the local library to be in their used book sale or be entered into circulation.
3 bags of old toys and clothes to the goodwill. With 3 more waiting to go once filled up.
Sent a large box to Amazon for the trade in program. Many are DVDs sets that I haven't watched in years and have decided to send back to Amazon for Gift Certificate for support of the book habit I have.

I am planning to send a box of used breeches and riding boots to the Rider's Closet which will pass them on to rider's who are in need. All the stuff is well cared for. Plus I have gained a little and I don't think I can fit into the size 28 waist breeches.

I put up 3 Floating Shelves which I have put all my Harry Potter books. You don't know how much room they take up on a book shelf until you place them somewhere else.

Black Cats

The black cat clawing at my door
I looked out the window.
It had no nose.
It had no eyes.
It was just a snake,

I came across some old papers and such that included my short stories or poems from Elementary and Middle School.
Most of it is from Third grade and with two from middle school, one that got published in our school's literacy journal and another collection from sixth grade which is poetry.

I've been in a biscuit making mood, I originally made Apple Drop Biscuits from this recipe. But for a seasonal touch I wanted to try Cranberry Biscuits. I found recipes that use fresh but I had none but I had plenty of dried ones.

The Channel 4 Tv program Living with the Amish Episode 1 took place in Middlefield, OH.

Middlefield is about 30 minutes away from my house and we go there a lot for fresh farm produce (grown by Amish), House hold items, and ect.

It is neat seeing it in a program.

The past couple months my dad has been capturing via live trap various wild critters that run around our property (Skunks, Raccoons, and Woodchuck) and shooting them because there is a 500 dollar fine if you are caught rereleasing them elsewhere.

Yesterday, he went out and checked the trap to find a cat in it. He than came in and called us out to see it. At first I thought it was a woodchuck but as we got closers we could here the cat yowling and we realized it was KASEY. Cue laughing and expletives on the family and dad goes and grabs mom to show her. We opened the cage and let him out and he shot the hell out.

He came out of the ordeal fine expect being a little bit more skittish
( Kitteh in the trap )Before his whole ordeal with cage Kasey proved his hunting buy capturing a chipmunk. Currently chipmunks are Enemy Number One with my neighbor because they have eating her bulbs in her garden that she takes great pride in.

Kasey is not one who goes in for a quick kill no he likes to play with his food.
